ConnectedSolutions - Batteries (Mass Save)
Your battery maker's platform discharges the battery during summer peak events, and you're paid for its average contribution across the season. Batteries can be paired with new or existing solar, or stand alone.

- Who can join
- Customers of the listed utilities with an eligible battery (inverter under 50 kW), enrolled through the manufacturer's ConnectedSolutions portal. Separate 0% Mass Save loans up to $25,000 are available.
- What it pays
- $275 per kW of average contribution during summer events (e.g. a 5 kW battery could earn up to $1,375 a year). Up to 60 events, each up to 3 hours, 3-8 PM on non-holiday days, June 1-September 30.
Note: EV batteries (e.g. F-150 Lightning, Kia EV9) are being added at the same $275/kW rate (reported Jul 2026).
